  9. This game is a battle simulation matching potential starship commanders 
  10. against the computer.  The candidate can represent any one of four      
  11. possible nations: the Federation, Klingon, Romulan, or Orion.  Several  
  12. different ship classes with varying armament are available.  The        
  13. simulation is complete including damage, casualty reports (from Dr.     
  14. McCoy), engine temperatures (from Scotty), phaser recharging times      
  15. (Chekov), and even the variables involved in navigating large as opposed
  16. to small ships (Sulu).  A player can command from one to a fleet of nine
  17. ships.                                                                  
  18.                                                                         
  19. The degree of difficulty is controled by the size of the opposing       
  20. fleets, a player can configure the odds in his favor or to the          
  21. computer's advantage.  The computer strategy is quite effective, the    
  22. novice captain probably will not win in a one on one confrontation.  The
  23. starship captain has a great deal responsibility in a battle situation  
  24. and this simulation will truly test a candidate's ability to command.
